About this Event
The Women in Business Summit, co-hosted by the American Marketing Association and the Association for Women in Business, is dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented minorities navigating the unique challenges of the business world. For over seven years, this event has connected and inspired thousands—from students and small business owners to stay-at-home mothers and community members—providing resources, opportunities, and a supportive network to help them thrive personally and professionally.

Open to Change: Building Opportunity in an Uncertain World of Work with Christina Bauer:
SMB Account Director of Talent Solutions at LinkedIn, Christina Bauer, shares lessons from her own nonlinear career journey and how embracing change can lead to unexpected opportunities. Photographer and business owner Amy Quinto shares her entrepreneurial journey and the realities of turning a passion into a sustainable and successful career. Amy will explore the “talent trap” framework, how to grow as a leader alongside your business, and the behind-the-scenes work required to transform what you love into a thriving profession.
The Adaptability Advantage: Thriving in the Age of AI with Amber Lowry:
Founder and Sales Technology Practice Lead at Syssero, a Rotational Digital company, Amber Lowry explores how adaptability can help students thrive as AI continues to transform the professional world. Amber will discuss how to embrace change, build confidence with emerging technology, and use AI as a tool to strengthen skills, increase career readiness, and prepare for an evolving workplace.
College to Careers with Madison Moe and Hailey Norrbom:
Chico State alumni Madison Kelly, District Manager for Regal Wine Company covering the Central Valley, and Hailey Norrbom, E-commerce Project Manager, join a panel of alumni who have taken unique career paths since graduating. Panelists will share their experiences transitioning from college into the workforce, lessons learned along the way, and advice for students navigating their own careers, followed by an interactive Q&A where attendees can ask questions and connect directly with alumni.
