Every year the Duckpond Neighborhood hosts thousands of Trick or Treaters on Halloween. The neighbors rise to the occasion with fantastic decorations and entertainment, and we love to see all the pirates, wild things, witches, and ghouls roaming the streets.Invariably lots of costume parts, candy wrappers, and assorted decorations are discarded in the streets of the Duckpond.
Keep Alachua County Beautiful will provide all the supplies we'll need -- safety vests, litter bags, grabber sticks, a first aid kit, and gloves -- and we're hoping that you'll provide a little bit of your time. Will you and join members of the Duckpond Neighborhood Association Board to help with the cleanup?
We’ll meet at Roper Park (401 NE 2nd St, Gainesville, FL 32601) at 9 AM on Sunday the 1st of November.
