There are some kinds of exhaustion that a good night's sleep doesn't seem to fix.
You're tired, but your mind won't slow down. You finally get into bed and suddenly remember everything you didn't get done. Your body may be begging for rest, but some part of you still feels like it needs to stay alert, keep thinking, keep planning, or keep doing.
When you've spent so much of your life moving, managing, solving, and responding, slowing down can actually feel uncomfortable. Sometimes we become so accustomed to being "on" that we forget what genuine stillness feels like.
This 60-minute 9D Breathwork experience is an opportunity to step out of that cycle for a while. There is nothing you need to accomplish and nothing you need to force. Instead, you'll be guided through a slower, deeply immersive experience designed to help you settle, soften, and reconnect with your body.
As the outside noise quiets, you may begin to notice things you haven't had time to notice lately. Your shoulders may finally drop. Your jaw may loosen. Your thoughts may become less overwhelming. You may feel more grounded in your body and less caught up in everything happening around you.
And for many people, the effects of finally allowing themselves to slow down don't end when the class does. One of the most common things I hear after someone's first breathwork experience is that they had some of the best sleep they've had in months.
Maybe what you need isn't another strategy, another task, or another thing to figure out.
Maybe you need an hour where you don't have to do anything at all.
Come get comfortable, put on your headphones and eye mask, settle into the zero-gravity chair, and give yourself permission to slow down.
Sometimes rest begins when we finally stop fighting the need for it.
What should I bring?
-wear loose, comfortable clothing
-a blanket if you get cold or want it for comfort
-don't eat for at least 2 hours before this session so that your tummy does not become upset!
You will be laid back in a zero gravity chair for this class with an eye mask and headphones on. This will all be provided for you. While you will be in the class with up to 10 people, once the journey starts you will be in your own world with no knowledge of what anyone else is doing. This journey is a great complement to the other breathwork journeys offered. All breathwork can be done in either the group setting or by scheduling an individual and personalized session.
*limited seating so reserve your seat today! (If the class is full please check out my website for the schedule of future classes. https://www.jessicashrievecounseling.com/somatic-breathwork)
*Attending a breathwork class does NOT mean you are signed up for counseling. Breathwork is a great tool for anyone whether you are in therapy or not. This can be a great supplement to therapy or can be a part of self-care and transformation all on its own!*
