Join us for a free workshop to learn the fundamentals of sewing using a machine and go home with your own tote bag. RSVP required.About this Event
PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP
In order to keep this program free for the community, we have a few requests for interested participants:
- After you are signed up, we will email in advance of the workshop to confirm your attendance. If we have not heard from you 24 hours before the workshop, we will release your spot to someone on the waitlist.
- If you are no longer able to attend the workshop, please cancel your ticket order or let us know as soon as possible so we can give the spot to someone who is able to attend.
- If you are bringing your own sewing machine to class, please test it and ensure it is in working condition before attending!
- Sewing materials will be provided. Due to limited fabric supplies, we encourage you to source your own fabric for the workshop. 1/2 yard of light-to-medium-weight fabric will be needed. We will have a limited store of donated fabrics for those who are unable to bring their own.
Tickets Offered
Bring Your Own Machine (free): For those who already own a working sewing machine and would like to learn how to use it. No vintage or antique machines please!
Borrow a Machine (free): For those who do not have access to a sewing machine and would like to borrow one for the duration of the workshop to learn on.
