UIMF 2026: Powering the Future of Mining & Metallurgy in Central Asia
The 8th International Mining & Metals Forum of Uzbekistan – UIMF 2026 – the region's flagship industry event – will take place on 27–28 October 2026 at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex in Tashkent.

The region’s most eagerly anticipated industry event – UIMF brings together the key players of the mining and metallurgical industry every year — representatives of government and business, investors, leading experts, technology companies and international partners. It is a strategic business platform where agreements are signed, investment projects are launched and long-term cooperation is built.
The main theme of UIMF 2026 — “From Resources to Global Opportunities” – reflects the transition of Uzbekistan’s mining and metallurgical complex from traditional resource development to technological transformation, sustainable development, deep processing and the emergence of new growth points, opening up opportunities for the industry’s further development and its entry into global markets.
The business programme will focus on the new resource architecture of Central Asia, the metals of the future, MINING 5.0, intelligent geological exploration and the development of deep deposits, the growth of Junior Mining in Uzbekistan, modern investment tools and next-generation metallurgy. Special attention will be paid to energy efficiency, ESG, industrial safety and cybersecurity. A key strategic focus will be the “Uzbekistan Gold Future” concept, bringing together resources, investment and technological leadership into a single vector for the industry’s development.
The expert agenda of UIMF 2026 will be reinforced by a practical component — the international exhibition MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2026, held on the same site as the forum. A recognised platform for showcasing innovations and advanced solutions in the extraction, transportation, processing and storage of mineral raw materials, as well as drilling and blasting technologies, MiningMetals Uzbekistan is one of the leading exhibition events for the mining and metallurgical industry, not only in Uzbekistan but across the whole of Central Asia. This combination of expert dialogue and real technological solutions allows participants not only to discuss the industry’s prospects, but also to see first-hand the technologies, equipment and innovations shaping its future.
UIMF 2026 is held under the official support of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Metallurgy Association of Uzbekistan. Regular participants include the largest representatives of the republic’s mining and metallurgical industry — subdivisions of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, Navoiyuran, the Uzbek Technological Metals Plant and Uzmetkombinat.
