The dead rise again for the 8th Annual Long Live The Horror. 🩸🍺
Corporate Ladder’s annual celebration of horror returns Saturday, October 24 from 12PM–midnight with four horror-movie-inspired beers, costumes, horror movies playing throughout the taproom, and a full day of terrifyingly good decisions.
This year’s beer lineup pulls inspiration from Alien, The Shining, and The Exorcist.
Some nightmares are returning. Some have mutated. And a few probably should have stayed buried.

THE BEER LINEUP
Honey Bourbon Barrel Aged Xenomorph Blood
Gluten Free Sour | 12% ABV | 500ml Bottle
Our Alien-inspired nightmare returns after a little time in a honey bourbon barrel. Honey, mango, pineapple, peach, pear, and apricot create a fruit-loaded sour that’s considerably safer to drink than anything collected from a Xenomorph. Probably.
All Work and No Play
Gluten Free Sour | 8.5% ABV | 16oz 4pk
Inspired by The Shining, this returning favorite brings together strawberry, banana, and vanilla for something sweet, fruity, and deceptively easygoing. The Overlook seems lovely this time of year. Just maybe skip Room 237.
Rum Barrel Aged Coconut All Work and No Play

Same hotel. Different nightmare. Our Shining-inspired sour takes a trip through the rum barrel with strawberry, banana, vanilla, and coconut, turning the familiar into something richer, stranger, and significantly less interested in checking out.
Compels You
Gluten Free Dessert Beer | 6.5% ABV | 16oz 4pk
Inspired by The Exorcist, this pea-green dessert beer combines pistachio, vanilla soft serve, and orange zest for a creamy, citrusy little possession in a glass. The power of pistachio compels you.

Trying to survive horror movies on beer alone is generally considered a bad plan.
Döner On Wheels will be serving from 12:30–8PM with German- and Polish-inspired street food.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Long Live The Horror is more than a beer release.
For eight years, it’s been our excuse to drag the taproom into the horror universe for a full day of horror-inspired beer, spooky atmosphere, costumes, movies, and references to some of our favorite films.
Costumes are strongly encouraged.
Horror movies will be playing on the TVs and projector inside throughout the event.
FAMILY GUIDANCE
This is a horror-themed event and may include scary imagery, movies, decorations, and other horror content.
Parents should use their best judgment. If your kids aren’t into scary stuff, this may be one to enjoy with the grown-ups instead.
