Join us 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 5Everyone brings 8 of the same item (scent, color, design, flavor, etc., can vary). Items must be unwrapped so everyone can see them. The items should be valued at $5 or greater each. These should be items that you would like to receive as a gift.
Everyone will get a number and then over the course of 8 rounds, every time your number is called you'll select an item for yourself. You will leave with 8 completely different gifts. Keep them for yourself, give some away.
Sample items from previous years include but aren't limited to: homemade items like: scarves, wreaths, signs, necklaces, paintings, gift sets, homemade breads/soup mixes/vanilla, personalized items; other items have been: jewelry, gift cards, movies, blankets, photography sessions, candles, Bath & Body works items, kitchen towels, ornaments, gift sets, homemade apple butter, etc. Pictures from past years posted below in event. Be creative and have fun with it!
We'll start the at 11:00 am enjoying some food & fellowship. We ask that everyone bring a snack to share. We suggest those with first name from A-P bring an appetizer and those with first name from Q-Z bring a dessert.
Drinks, cups, plates, flatware, napkins, tablecloths will be provided. We ask for a $5 donation at the event to help cover the costs of hosting this event (all the paper products, drinks & ice), including a donation to the church for using their facility.
The more people who come, the more fun it is and more variety to choose from. So invite your friends to join you!
Please try to RSVP on this event so we have an idea of how many to expect for drinks and table set up. Last year we were scrambling to add more tables and chairs at the last minute because we had such a great turnout! We hope for even better turnout this year, but having RSVPs helps! If you are bringing people with you, make sure they know the rules and include them in your rsvp count below or add them to the event and they can mark going.
