About this Event
This year’s conference will be held at White Oaks Resort and Spa in Niagara-On-The-Lake on February 26-28, 2027.
Our conference provides an opportunity for educators from across Ontario to enhance their knowledge of Métis culture and learn how to support Métis children in classrooms and the community. The conference will strengthen participants' knowledge of Métis culture, way of life, and how to incorporate the knowledge they acquire into their learning environments in a respectful and non-appropriating way. This year’s conference will be centred around the theme of storytelling, music and movement. Participants will engage in professional development opportunities and obtain helpful resources to utilize within their learning environments.

Check out the Mini Métis Kitchen Party Corner for ideas on using materials from your learning environment to transform your dramatic play centre into a Métis Kitchen Party. Visit the incredible makers at the Vendor Fair in Studio 10, then stop outside the Grand Event Ballroom foyer for s'mores at the fire pit. At 7:30 pm, Mâmawin’towin: A Métis Kitchen Party takes the stage in a live Métis concert experience with Amanda Rheaume, Alyssa Katrine, Danton Delbaere-Sawchuk, and Kyler Tapscot. Whether you’re here to unwind, meet new people, or hit the dance floor, there’s something for everyone!
