Class Description
This 8-week hybrid intensive takes you from your first idea to a finished, shareable video, and shows you how to turn that skill into income if you want to. You start with storyboarding, shot lists, and composition, then move through camera settings, lighting, audio, and studio setup.
Every week ends with a shooting assignment, and each class pairs in-person time with short videos and homework to keep you building between sessions.
Classes are livestreamed, so you can join live or catch up later if you miss a week in person. You also get tool-tested on the shop cameras, lights, modifiers, backgrounds, and audio gear, so you leave able to run the equipment yourself. The final week is a showcase of everyone's work plus a practical look at going from hobby to paid, and you walk out with a finished piece for your reel.
The materials fee for this class is $25. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts Venmo.
