🍂This fall, the 79th Charleston Gazette-Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival returns to Laidley Field in Charleston on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026!🥁Bands from all eight public high schools in Kanawha County will perform beginning at 6:30 p.m., with special guest “The Pride of West Virginia,” the Mountaineer Marching Band from West Virginia University.

🎟️Advance tickets will be on sale at Gorby’s Music in South Charleston and at Laidley Field in Charleston for $8. Tickets may be purchased at Laidley Field on the day of the festival for $10.00. Proceeds from ticket and program sales will be divided equally among the eight participating Kanawha County Schools senior high school band programs.
