Registration is now open for the 𝟕𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐒𝐁𝐀 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, happening 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟗-𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐭-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 in downtown 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤! The conference is the largest annual gathering of Arkansas school board members. This year’s theme, “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦 - 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬,” focuses on the role of strong, steady leadership in moving schools and communities forward.Across three days, participants can earn up to 𝟏𝟒 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐄-𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 through engaging breakout sessions, meaningful networking opportunities, and inspiring general sessions designed to strengthen effective school board governance and support student success.

Headlining this year’s conference is 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐉𝐫., a GRAMMY Music Educator Award recipient, eight-time Teacher of the Year, and nationally recognized educator and speaker. Blending music, storytelling, and a powerful message of purpose, Smith challenges education leaders to rediscover their passion and lead at “full volume.”
Attendees can also explore Commercial Affiliate exhibits featuring innovative products and services for districts, celebrate outstanding leadership through ASBA’s annual awards, and hear from talented student speakers and performers.
At the 73rd Annual ASBA Conference, Arkansas education leaders will come together to find their rhythm, strengthen their leadership, and set the tone for stronger schools.
