In this Beginner level course, students will learn correct pronunciation, including vowels and consonants, while exploring practical topics such as greetings, self-introductions, family, pets, and Chinese names. They’ll also practice asking basic questions, using common measure words, and counting from 1 to 100. By the end of the course, students will be ready to introduce themselves and others and enjoy simple everyday conversations in Mandarin!
The class format is Hybrid, which means that the teacher always teaches the class in-person at the school, but the students are welcome to attend in-person or online via Zoom. Students will also receive the class recording in case they have to miss a class or just want to review what they learned!
