The Sixth Annual Spring Fling EGGstravaganza kicks off the season on Saturday, March 28, with a HippieD’ Hoppity day of family fun.Free to the public, this groovy celebration invites attendees to dress in their retro-inspired best and enjoy a day filled with activities and entertainment, presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Improvement District.
Children 13 and under can hop over to the Egg Hunt, where more than 15,000 eggs will be waiting on the great lawn, with special golden eggs hidden within the park for extra surprises. Adding to the festivities, attendees can snap photos with the Easter Bunny, get creative in the Arts & Crafts Station, and slide into Spring with a trio of inflatables for all ages. All this, plus DJ David & the Hippie D’Hop Hares keeping everyone hopping with games and contests, makes for a groovy day that blends Springtime traditions with a throwback twist.
EGG HUNT EGGSTRAVAGANZA – 15,000 EGGS + Wrapped Candy
Children 13 and under are encouraged to bring an Easter basket and gather on the main lawn at 10 a.m. for The LOOP’s egg hunt countdown.
The egg hunt will be divided into three approximate starting times.
- Children 5 and under will begin at 10:15 a.m.
- Children ages 6-9 will start at 10:30 a.m., and
- Children ages 10-13 will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Free pre-registration online is encouraged.
Come down early and explore the park and vendors for a golden egg hunt.
