Both authors will bring their beloved children's books to life for young readers and their families. This special combined session is part of the 2026 Africana Arts & Humanities Festival (AAHF) celebrating local authors and literary talent.

Dr. Sharon D. Wright Austin is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida and a proud autism mom. In addition to her acclaimed academic work, she has written a touching children's book inspired by her personal experience raising a child on the autism spectrum.
Featured Book: Allan Learns to Talk
