Run. Honor. Remember.Join us for the 6th Annual Mogadishu Mile Kentucky — a military-style obstacle challenge honoring the 19 American soldiers who gave their lives during the Battle of Mogadishu on October 3, 1993.
On that day in Mogadishu, Somalia, surrounded and under fire, those soldiers fought through the streets to reach their fallen brothers. That desperate run became known as the Mogadishu Mile. Every year on the first Saturday of October, we gather at Queenslake Horse Farm to honor their sacrifice — and carry their memory forward one mile at a time.

THE CHALLENGE
Push through a military-style obstacle course set across the beautiful grounds of Queenslake Horse Farm — tire flips, ball slams, box jumps, push-ups, hay bale carries, chain drags, ammo can carries, a water crossing, a dam traverse, and a wooded trail run. Compete as an individual or as a team. Rucking (weighted pack) is encouraged but not required. All fitness levels welcome.
NEW IN 2026 — LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL
Stay after the challenge for live bands, food, drinks, and community on the farm. This is a full day of remembrance, celebration, and gratitude.
WHO SHOULD COME?
Veterans, active duty military, first responders, fitness enthusiasts, families, and anyone who wants to honor the fallen. No obstacle race experience required. Warriors on Wheels participants are warmly welcomed.
