Hello everybody,
On behalf of the Greater Sacramento USBC, I am proud to announce the 62nd GSA Open Masters Tournament coming November 21st and 22nd to Lucky Strike Sacramento!
Qualifying for the 62nd GSA Open Masters will take place on Saturday, November 21st. There will be 2 qualifying squads: 8:30am and 12:30pm. Due to time constraints with the host center, the qualifying round this year will consist of 5 games. Re-entries are permitted. Check in opens at 7:30am for the first squad. The tournament playoffs will take place the next day, Sunday, November 22nd, starting at 10:00am.

The 62nd GSA Open Masters tournament will be open to all 2026-27 USBC members in good standing. Non-GSA Sacramento members may purchase a local membership for $13.00.
Entry fees are $150.00 per squad if paid in advance or $165.00 for walk ins. Players may re-enter online or onsite for $150.00. Reservations cannot be guaranteed without pre-payment.
Tournament dress code: PBA approved attire. No shorts, jeans, or hats. No exceptions!
The tournament will feature 5 games of qualifying and a minimum of 20 players guaranteed to cash and advance to a double elimination playoff bracket. The playoff qualifiers will consist of 16 open spots, plus 1 spot for each of the following: Highest Qualifying Senior aged 50-59, 60-69, 70+, and Highest Qualifying Player with a composite league average of 199 of less (see rules for details. Players may only represent 1 category, as chosen before the start of the tournament.)
Playoff matches are 2 game/total pin matches. The final 4 players will advance to a stepladder finals with 1 game matches. With 80 entries, 1st place will pay a guaranteed $2,500.00.
The lane condition for the tournament will be the house shot with a length of 42 feet. Lanes will be reoiled between qualifying squads and before the start of the playoff round.
