This October, join Vanport Mosaic in commemorating 60 years since the Black Panther Party was founded in October 1966. Walk historic Albina with Mr. Kent Ford, founding member of the Portland chapter, to explore local history and a nationwide movement for liberation. From free breakfasts to health clinics, the Panthers met systemic neglect with radical community care.
Don't miss the chance to hear Mr. Ford’s personal memories of revolutionary activism and community service, and be inspired to join today’s fight for justice.
