About this Event
Join us for a six week course designed for total beginners (or if you haven’t done it for a while and need a refresher) to Pottery.
Once you've completed this course with us you will be able to join one of our regular classes and continue your studies at your own pace.
All materials and firings included.
We will begin to show you the possibilities of coils, slabs, pinch pots, wheel throwing, raku and glazing using relaxed informal methods. The sessions are a great way to socialise and forget all your stress!
2.5 hours each week on a Saturday morning
Dates are 11th, 18th, 25th April and 2nd, 9th and 16th May
Please make sure you can attend all 6 weeks as we can’t move your classes around. Places are non refundable.
Bookings will incur a booking fee to eventbrite. Ages 16 plus only :)
Please note there may be two dogs at the workshop so if you have a problem with this please let us know before you book.
Cut your nails and tie long hair back.
Please wear something warm, comfortable and that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be aged 16 or over. This is an adults only event.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are car parking spaces right outside the workshop. The metro at Jarrow is a ten minute walk away.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring an apron you'd like to wear and a cold drink if you’d like one.

What's the refund policy?
Absolutely no refunds on any tickets.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need, show on phone if asked.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
If you can't make the sessions you can transfer your ticket to someone else. They will have to attend all of the sessions Instead of you.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes if you let us know you want to transfer your ticket to someone else that's fine
