Six painters, six ways of looking at the world, and what they might reveal about youWe usually stand in front of a painting and wonder what the artist saw. This time, let's turn it around.
Every painter has a way of looking. Ingres sees grace in a single perfect line, while Goya sees straight through the costume to the person underneath. Bellini finds quiet dignity in a face, while Giorgione finds mystery, mood, and everything left unsaid. Manet looks you in the eye, modern and unafraid, while Morisot catches a fleeting moment of light before it slips away.
In front of each portrait, we'll slow down and get to know how that artist sees. Then we'll ask ourselves: if I looked at the world like this, what would I see in myself? Which part of me would step forward?
We'll begin with a short meditation to wake up the senses, then walk through the museum together. Bring a notebook and a pen for your first impressions and reflections. At each painting we'll open the conversation and borrow a little from each other's perspective.
It's not a lecture. It's an experience we live together.
Small group, limited to 10. Donation-based (suggested $15-30, collected on-site), and no one is turned away. The museum is free that day.
