About TACC
TACC is a Roxbury-based nonprofit tackling community-identified barriers through economic and workforce development, research, and policy strategies that expand pathways to meaningful opportunities in communities of color. At TACC, we believe that cities should work for everyone.
Our workforce development initiative, Roxbury Worx, focuses on connecting hidden and middle-skills workers from communities of color to career pathways in expanding sectors such as life sciences/biotech, healthcare, and climate. Through our engagement efforts, we raise awareness of these industries and equip residents with the resources and support they need to pursue high-road jobs (e.g., higher wages, predictable annual income, opportunities for advancement, benefits).
