THE CHILI IS HOT. THE CAUSE IS EVEN HOTTER.The 5th Annual Smokers Abbey Memphis Charity Chili Cook-Off is coming!
And this year, we're proud to have Atsiniki Cigars sponsoring the event.
If you know Atsiniki, you know they aren't just making cigars. Their story is built around tobacco, tradition, storytelling, culture, and finding common ground. The name Atsiniki means “Storyteller,” and their cigars were created with a desire to honor Native American culture and the stories of Indigenous people.
That makes Atsiniki a meaningful partner for this year's charity cook-off.
BUT THIS YEAR, WE WANT TO DO MORE THAN HAVE A GREAT TIME.
We want to raise money.
A lot of money.
All entry fees from the competition will go directly to The Red Road, and we're going to use this event as an opportunity to invite our entire Smokers Abbey community to give generously.
The Red Road works to empower and minister hope to Native communities through awareness, education, empowerment, reconciliation, and healing.
We believe good things happen when people come together around a common table.
So we're bringing people together around a whole lot of chili.
We'll bring the competition.
We'll bring the cigars.
We'll bring the food.
We'll bring the laughs.
And we're asking our community to help us turn all of that into generosity.
THE COMPETITION
Any kind of chili is welcome.
Red chili.
White chili.
Green chili.
Brisket chili.
Venison chili.

We'll have prizes for:

3rd Place
People's Choice
Best Showmanship
And, of course, plenty of good-natured trash talk.
Because we're not saying your chili is going to win...
We're just saying you better bring your A-game.
COME BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER.
Whether you're cooking, judging, eating, smoking, donating, or just hanging out with us, you can help make a difference.
Our goal isn't simply to crown a Chili Champion.
Our goal is to raise as much money as we can for The Red Road and make this our biggest and most generous chili competition yet.
So bring your friends.
Bring your appetite.
Bring your chili.
Bring your generosity.
And let's see what the Smokers Abbey community can do when we come together for a great cause.
