5th Annual - Chili in the GroveArkansas State Chili Championship
Saturday, Oct. 17th, 2026
Set up in Chamber Yard beginning - 8am
Turn in time for chili judging – 1pm
Chili sampling kits - $5
Come on down and sample all the chili until it’s gone!

All Proceeds go to the Prairie Grove Senior Center for Meals on Wheels and the Purchase of a new Senior Transport Van!
Don't be afraid to try your hand at cooking the best chili in the state! ANYONE can join in on the fun! You will need a copy of CASI rules and guidelines. I'll post a copy of them here.
The top three Arkansas cooks automatically qualify to compete in the Terlingua International Chili Championship (The championship of the world of chili cooking)

Entry Fees:
- CASI Chili - $25 (includes entry in Peoples’ Choice)
- CASI Showmanship – no fee, must be entered in CASI Chili category
- People’s Choice - $10
All chilis must be cooked on site utilizing camp-type stoves – no open fires! Cooks must provide their own tables, stoves, chairs, and tents if wanted.
Turn in – 1:00 pm
Peoples’ Choice voting – 1:00 pm
- CASI Chili Trophies
– 1st-10th
--- Showmanship Trophies – 1st-3rd
- People’s Choice Trophies and cash prizes
--- 1st-$100, 2nd-$50, 3rd-$25
1st place CASI cook automatically qualifies for the Terlingua International Chili Championship as do the top 3 Arkansas cooks!
The top showmanship team also qualifies.
