LACE UP FOR WILDLIFE!Join us for Flamingo Gardens’ 5th Annual 5k Walk in the Wild at Flamingo Gardens! This early morning walk through scenic gardens is like no other 5k you’ve experienced. Enjoy the quiet and lushness of the gardens while making an impact with each mile you walk!
Funds raised through the 5k help provide food, veterinary care, enrichment, habitat, and daily support for the rescued wildlife in our Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary. From injured and orphaned animals receiving care before returning to the wild to permanent residents who cannot, the funds raised by participants like you help us provide the care they need.

- Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026
- Check-In: 7am–8am (Please arrive no later than 7:45am)
- Free Parking: Available in main guest lot
- Pick-Up: T-shirts & bibs at the Check-In Tent
- Optional Stretch: 7am–8am by the Check-In Area
- Walk Begins: Start as soon as you’re ready after check-in
- Post-Walk Celebration: Join us at the Athlete’s Village (Learning Center)

Registration closes November 2 at 11:59pm. Only those registered will be allowed on premises the day of the event.
