Get ready for another beautiful, fun-packed, Autumn morning at one of the region's most highly regarded 5k Trail Races. The McKaig Trail Race is kicking off its second decade as we celebrate our nation's 250th.What you'll get:

Don't want to run or walk? Stop by the McKaig table and get a $5 band to be part of the chili tasting & judging
As always, it's never the same course twice as you run the trails through these beautiful woods, across streams and up and down hills in this scenic but challenging race.
Returning for another season is the Monkey Rock Miler (leashed dogs welcome), as well as the free Kids Race-your choice of a 150 meter jaunt around the school yard for younger kids or a half mile race that includes a small section of the trail for older kids.
A reminder that 100% of the proceeds go toward nature education programs and the maintenance and preservation of this nearly 100 acre oasis, which survives solely on donations, memberships, rare grants and proceeds from events like this one. Great race, great cause, great time!
