59th Annual Strings Festival Thursday, March 12 11:00am - 2:00pm at East High SchoolA message from Ms. Dominick, BHMS music teacher: Thursday, March 12th 12:45 performance start time at East High School
--> This is a HUGE change for this year. Parents are welcome to attend the performance at 12:45, otherwise the students are being taken to East to rehearse and perform as if it were a field trip.
BHMS would love to have a huge parent turn out for this event, but in the middle of the work day we understand time may be hard for parents to commit. BHMS will need many chaperones this day as well! 11:00-2pm would be the time commitment.

This is the one of the oldest continuous public school music festivals in the country, and brings together all of our 5-12 string players, from 5th grade beginners to our most advanced high school orchestras. It is a spectacle—hundreds of students performing together in a massed orchestra at each of our four high schools.
