Our curriculum will enable you to guide clients through aerial postures with an acute awareness of anatomical variations and potential sensitivities. You will gain valuable insights into setting up aerial rigs safely and securely, understanding the critical elements that contribute to a truly trauma-informed aerial practice.
Beyond the physical, this training will deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy, exploring how the wisdom of the Yamas and Niyamas can be integrated into your trauma-informed aerial yoga offerings. Because trauma disconnects the body and mind, this course focuses on healing this rift through aerial yoga. This training, led by two certified yoga therapists, includes 36 in-person contact hours (8 a.m.-6 p.m. each training day) as well as 14 hours of video (non-contact) hours. In-person attendance at all four days, March 12-15, is required.
