Join us for the 51st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Luncheon, presented by the Bloomington and Normal Human Relations Commissions.For more than five decades, this longstanding community tradition has brought Bloomington-Normal together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and recognize local individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment to community reflect the principles Dr. King championed.
The 2027 luncheon will include the presentation of the Bloomington and Normal MLK Awards to outstanding youth and adult recipients, lunch, and a special keynote address by:

Dr. Brown-Thomas continues her family's legacy of service through her work supporting youth, education, community development, and humanitarian causes.
