Join us as we celebrate 50 years of God’s faithfulness at Woodglen Missionary Baptist Church. The property was first purchased on December 21, 1976, and for five decades, God has used this property and His people to plant missions, raise leaders, and build a community of believers who served with love, sacrifice, and steadfast stewardship.
On Saturday, December 19, we invite everyone connected to this history—members, former members, pastors, trustees, families, and friends—to gather and honor the journey from the early mission work in the Fairfax community to the organized church we know today.
This celebration recognizes every church, every sponsor, and every servant who helped shape the church known as Woodglen Missionary Baptist Church from 1976–2026.
Fifty years of faith. Fifty years of service. Fifty years of God’s people answering His call.
