This is a 5-week wheel throwing class focused on building strong foundational pottery skills through repetition, technique refinement, and studio workflow. Learn centering, clay control, form development, trimming, and glazing while gaining the confidence to work independently on the wheel.**NOTE: Class will run 4 consecutive weeks, then skip one week to allow pieces to dry and be fired before glazing in the 5th and final class.
Additional Information:
-This class is for ages 13 and up. All under 16 must attend with a participating adult.
-We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes for safety.
-It's essential to tie back or secure long hair, and we recommend having short nails for wheel throwing.
-Students are encouraged to bring their own hand towels to class. Aprons will be provided.
-Enrollment fee is non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of class start.
-No makeup sessions will be offered for missed classes.
-All pottery not picked up within 60 days of the last class session may be subjected to donation or disposal.
