What is a 5 Rhythms Dance Wave?
5 Rhythms is a moving meditation. Rather than learning choreography or following steps, you allow your body to respond to the music and discover its own authentic movement.
We travel through five distinct rhythms:
Flowing → Staccato → Chaos → Lyrical → Stillness
Each rhythm offers a different doorway into the body and into ourselves. You may find yourself grounding, expressing, shaking things loose, playing, releasing, opening your heart, and eventually settling into stillness.
No dance experience is necessary.
There are no right or wrong movements.
No choreography.
No performance.
Just you, your body, the music, and the wave.
Come to move what wants to move.
