4th Trimester Group is a welcoming peer support group for mothers and their babies during the first three months after birth. The fourth trimester is a season of healing, learning, and adjusting to life with a new baby.Whenever you're ready to leave the house, consider this your postpartum plan—a place to find connection, ask questions, share honestly, and receive support from mothers who understand what you're experiencing. Messy hair, spit-up PJ's we don't care. Come as you are.
Facilitated by a Lactation Consultant and trained volunteer facilitator, each gathering offers space for meaningful conversation, connection, and encouragement while exploring topics that matter most during the early postpartum months.
Common themes include:
Breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and formula feeding
Newborn sleep and infant development
Postpartum recovery and maternal mental health
Nutrition and caring for yourself while caring for your baby
Partner relationships and changing family dynamics
Returning to work—or choosing not to
Identity shifts and the transition to motherhood
Building your village and accessing local resources
Knowing when and how to ask for help
Celebrating milestones while navigating the unexpected
Whether you're looking for practical guidance, reassurance, or simply a place where you don't have to have it all figured out, you'll find a compassionate community here. Come as you are—you and your baby are always welcome.
