4th Saturday Genealogy Seminar

In partnership with the staff of Oakwood Cemetery Chapel, the Carver Genealogy Center invites you to the September 4th Saturday Genealogy Seminar! The team at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel will give an hour seminar/Q&A on the history of Oakwood Cemetery, the various populations buried there and the challenges of interpreting the history of a place that reflects over a century of Austin’s complex and oftentimes-discriminatory 190 year history and how that history intersects with the later Evergreen, Plummers and Austin Memorial Park Cemeteries.
