The 4th International Jackal and Related Species Symposium will be held at Puflene Resort Official in Murighiol, Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Romania from 7-10 October 2026. The symposium will address various topics related to jackals and other related species, including monitoring, conservation, lethal control, population ecology, reproduction biology, behavior, genetics, genomics, biogeography, movement ecology, community ecology, social aspects, and diseases. The event invites submissions exploring these themes concerning the golden jackal and other jackal-related species, including wolves, coyotes, Ethiopian wolves, gray wolves, dingos, black-backed jackals, side-striped jackals, foxes, and other mesocarnivores. The event also encourages submissions exploring behavioral ecology, genetics, conservation, and interactions of these species. The call for abstracts is now open, and provisional registration is available through the NEWS CORNER on WWW JACKALECOLOGY EU.
