About this Event

💗 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Hike & Assembly

All Cancers Are Welcomed. All Stories Matter. All Awareness Counts.

Hosted by Adults P.L.A.Y. 360, our 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Hike & Assembly is more than a hike — it is a movement of awareness, remembrance, encouragement, fellowship, and community.

While Breast Cancer Awareness is at the heart of this annual event, ALL CANCERS ARE WELCOMED. Whether you are a survivor, currently battling cancer, supporting a loved one, honoring someone you’ve lost, or simply believe in spreading awareness — there is a place for you here.

And remember: You don’t have to be at the event to make a difference. Our goal is to take the message of awareness beyond Stone Mountain and encourage everyone to continue sharing information, starting conversations, supporting others, and helping someone who may need to hear the message.

🎀 TUTUS ARE ENCOURAGED!

Come dressed in your favorite tutu, cancer-awareness colors, or simply wear something that represents your personal reason for being there.

This is a day for awareness, laughter, reflection, movement, fellowship, and community.

🅿️ We are meeting in the area near the restrooms at the Walk Up TrailHead.

🚡 DON’T WANT TO HIKE UP?

That’s okay! You can still participate in the experience.

Stone Mountain Park offers the Summit Skyride, an aerial tram that transports visitors to the summit.

Summit Skyride: Approximately $20 round trip per person

Please note:

  • Summit Skyride admission is separate from event registration.
  • Parking is not included with the Skyride.
  • Stone Mountain Park parking is approximately $20 for a daily parking pass or $40 for an annual parking pass.
  • Skyride and parking prices are established by Stone Mountain Park and may change without notice. Please verify current pricing directly with Stone Mountain Park before attending.

If taking the Summit Skyride, we encourage you to arrive early enough to participate in the 8:30 AM group gathering before making your way to the summit.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: HIKING & SAFETY DISCLAIMER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING.

Hiking up Stone Mountain is considered a moderate-to-hard physical activity. The trail includes steep and uneven terrain and may contain natural obstacles such as rocks, roots, uneven surfaces, loose gravel, and areas that may become slippery due to weather or trail conditions.

Participants should consider their own physical abilities, fitness level, health, mobility, and comfort with strenuous activity before deciding to participate.

By attending this event, you voluntarily assume responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing. If you are attending with a minor, you are responsible for the minor’s supervision, safety, and wellbeing throughout the event.

Adults P.L.A.Y. 360, its organizers, volunteers, hike leaders, speakers, and other event participants are not responsible for injuries, illness, accidents, lost or stolen personal belongings, or other incidents that may occur before, during, or after the event.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Wear appropriate athletic/hiking shoes.
  • Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Bring sunscreen and any personal necessities.
  • Pace yourself and listen to your body.
  • Follow all Stone Mountain Park rules, signs, and instructions.
  • Remain aware of your surroundings and other hikers.

🥾 GROUP HIKE — INDIVIDUAL EFFORT

Although we are hiking together as a group, reaching the summit is an individual effort.

Participants will move at their own ability and pace. No participant should feel pressured to keep up with another person.

Because the assembly begins promptly at 11:00 AM, participants who are moving at a slower pace may not reach the summit before the assembly begins. Depending on the timing and circumstances, a participant may need to complete the remaining portion of the hike independently, make their way back down the mountain, or otherwise determine the safest option for themselves.

Our event team will make every reasonable effort to provide guidance and support, but we cannot guarantee that every participant will reach the summit before the 11:00 AM assembly.

Please plan accordingly.

If at any point you feel that continuing the hike is unsafe for you, stop and make the decision that is best for your wellbeing.

In the event of an emergency, contact 911 and follow the instructions of emergency personnel and Stone Mountain Park staff.

💗 WHY WE HIKE

We hike for those who are fighting.

We hike for those who have won their battle.

We hike for those who are still fighting.

We hike for those who didn’t make it.

We hike for the caregivers, families, friends, and communities affected by cancer.

And we hike because awareness shouldn’t stop when the event ends.

Our hope is that everyone who participates leaves with more than tired legs. We want you to leave with a message, a memory, a connection, and a renewed commitment to spread awareness wherever you go.

🎀 COME HIKE. COME FELLOWSHIP. COME REMEMBER. COME REPRESENT.

ALL CANCERS ARE WELCOMED.

Let’s make this year’s hike bigger than the mountain — let’s take the awareness beyond it.

Adults P.L.A.Y. 360Participate. Live. Actively. Youthful. 360.Wellness in Motion.
