✊🏾 44th Annual Seattle Martin Luther King Jr. CelebrationJoin the Seattle Martin Luther King Jr. Organizing Coalition on Monday, January 18th, 2027, as we come together for our 44th Annual Celebration honoring the life, leadership, and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
For 44 years, this Seattle tradition has brought together generations of community members, labor unions, faith leaders, students, families, and organizations committed to advancing Dr. King's vision of justice, equality, and opportunity for all.
As we gather once again, we will reflect on the work that has been done, recognize the challenges that remain, and continue our collective commitment to building a more just and equitable community.
What to Expect:
📚 Community workshops and conversations
🤝 Opportunity Fair connecting community members with resources, education, and career opportunities
✊🏾 Community rally and march
❤️ Opportunities to connect, serve, and stand together
🌟 Youth leadership and engagement through our MLK Youth Internship Program
We are also proud to continue honoring the legacy of KL Shannon through the KL Shannon MLK Youth Scholarship Program, supporting young people as they pursue their educational and career goals.
This celebration is FREE and open to everyone!
