The 42nd Annual Ocklawaha River Raid Civil War Reenactment Living History Weekend commemorates the only Civil War battle to occur in Marion County, Florida. The event features authentic Union and Confederate camps, civilian homestead, historic displays, vendors of Civil War era items, a scavenger hunt for the youngsters, and two authentic battle reenactments with infantry, cavalry, and artillery. Food concessions on site. The grounds are open from 9:00 AM to 4 :00 PM Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8, with battle reenactments at 2:00 PM each day. Admission by donation, $10 carload requested.
