🎃👻 Halloween fun is coming to the McKinleyville Shopping Center! 👻🎃What are you gonna be for Halloween? A goblin? Ghoul? Or something really cool?
Join us Saturday, October 31st for our 42nd Annual Halloween Costume Parade.
Gather at the kiosk/event-sign area near Central Avenue & City Center Road and be ready to parade at 11:00 a.m.
The walking route stays entirely on shopping-center property.
This year we will have music with DJ Juniper's Dad, a guest appearance by the Dancing Magic Witches of Humboldt, and face painting with Penny Byrd, aka Popo the Clown.
This community event is sponsored by the businesses that pay into the McKinleyville Merchant Association: Subway, Redwood Community Pharmacy, Ramone's Bakery & Cafe, Sew & Vac Plus, Edward Jones, Cask & Flask, Art of Pilates,
McKinleyville Barber Shop, Brillie Moon Gifts, EXP Realty, and Umami Sushi.
Other shopping-center merchants are welcome to participate as well.
We're also working in partnership with Rocking Horse Toy Store, Fun With TeaFairy, and local candy makers to make this year's celebration extra special.
No registration. No judging. No prizes. Walking parade only - no vehicles or floats.
Print out this coloring page and enter it for a chance to win a special prize. Entries will be entered into different age categories. Please make sure to put your name on it. Bring your coloring pages to the event. Winners will be alerted in the first week of November.
