Join us as we celebrate 40 years of the band. A reception will follow.🎼🎼🎼🎼Hello to all the folks who have ever played with the Watauga Community Band in Boone, NC. The Watauga Community Band is celebrating their 40th anniversary this fall with an Anniversary Concert and Reception on the evening of Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country. It is a free concert and the band invites all band alumni to attend as special guests. The band would especially like to recognize the original members of the Watauga Community Band. Would you believe there are still five of the original members still playing/directing the band? 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
