40 Years Brazil-Canada

Forty years ago, Brazilian families settled in Canada and began building the community we know today. On Saturday, June 5, 2027, we gather to celebrate four decades of Brazilians in Canada.

Brasil 40 Anos is a seated gala dinner for up to 1,400 guests at Paramount EventSpace in Vaughan, produced by BCE Productions. It is a night of recognition, culture, and celebration — and the centerpiece of a year-long tribute to our community's story.

What to expect

• Welcome cocktail — arrive from 6:00 PM for drinks and reconnecting with friends, family, and community leaders from across the GTA and beyond
• Gala dinner — a full seated dinner service with a menu inspired by Brazilian flavours
• Commemorative ceremony — a tribute honouring the pioneers of 1987 and the people who shaped the Brazilian-Canadian community over four decades
• Cultural show — live performances celebrating Brazilian music, dance, and heritage
• DJ set and live band ball — the celebration continues until 1:00 AM with a live band and DJ playing the best of Brazilian and international music
