Ground yourself and get dirty in our 4 week pottery wheel course great for beginners!This express course takes you from start to finish in making a set of bowls or mugs on the wheel.
1- Week 1 you are on the pottery wheel to learn how to use the wheel, centring, pulling and forming.
2- Week 2 you are on the pottery wheel to make things! Create 3-4 bowls, cups or vases.
3- Week 3 back on the wheel for trimming the bottoms, adding texture and handles if desired.
4- Week 4 is glazing. You will learn the difference between underglaze, glaze colour, painting techniques and layering to give your pottery a beautful personality!
Includes clay, firing & glazing 4 pieces. Think a nesting set of bowls or matching mugs. Or whatever takes shape on the wheel that your beautiful hands create!
Cost for the 4 week course including the firings and glaze day is $375
Additional clay and firing is available to purchase.
