For anyone unfamiliar with a scrambles competition, names are drawn at random to create balanced teams with a range of experience in each. Each team will fly 12 flights (~20 minutes of flying time), with 8 scored rounds contributing to the competition results. There will be a mix of traditional 4 way (including some blocks) and dynamic (movement) flights, including a “blind jumper” round (more will become apparent on the day!).
Requirements to take part:
- Current IBA membership
- Signed off for 4 way on your IBA account
- Logged flight time within the last 6 months on your IBA account
Whether you’ve just been signed off for 4 way or you’re a seasoned competitor, this event is for you. Meet new people and beat the winter blues whilst the DZs are closed.
