Celebrate the final Third Sunday of summer, shake off the Sunday scaries, and explore how movement, music, and creativity can bring us back to ourselves and one another.

Open House BK X Gallery 198 bring you 3rd Sundays, Immersive, interdisciplinary art parties! Each gathering begins with a mini art therapy lesson (15-20 min) explaining the day’s creative process, followed by hands-on art making (no experience needed). Surrounded by a live DJ set and the opportunity to experience the current exhibition throughout the event. Attend a portion, attend all, connect & create!
This month's theme: Moving Together:
Escape Capitalisms Sunday Scaries Epidemic!
- 🎶Live DJ sets by Dmitri Russell, with a movement, mindfulness, and mark-making activation guided by Art Therapists Melissa Díaz and Deborah Rice.
- 🎨Current Show: American Carnage, new paintings by Timothy Brewer, exploring the erosion of enlightenment and authoritarianism challenging our democracy.
- 🫗Drinks available for donation.
- 📆Sunday, 9/20/2026, 12-3 pm, @ Gallery 198, 198 24th st, Brooklyn, 11232 (R train to 25th Street).
