Alice Rogoff: I grew up in New Rochelle, New York, writing poetry and stories when I was young. I've been published in many literary magazines and anthologies including Swerve from Ireland, Transfer, Borderlands (Texas Poetry Review), fiction in Caveat Lector, Poetry Pacific, and Avocet for nature poetry. I moved to San Francisco in 1971 and received 2 MAs in Creative Writing and Drama from San Francisco State. In addition to volunteering for many groups around social issues, I received a San Francisco Arts Commission grant for a poetry project about SF women labor organizers. My book, Mural, won a Blue Light Book Award, and she has several others, the latest being City Canyons. In recent years, I've gotten into writing songs and taking classical guitar classes. I met my husband David, a Social Worker, (recently passed away) in SF, but in the past, we both had worked with children at Hull House in Chicago. .

Michael Koch is a San Francisco poet and visual artist whose Jamaican-Slavic heritage only partially explains his passion for syncopation and absurdity. His books include Street Theology and Ramshackle Detour.
