Are you interested in our December Race but want help getting the right equipment, or want to check out the trail in advance, here is your chance! We will be doing a group canicross meetup of the 5k course. We have tester gear for humans/dogs of all sizes, and we welcome beginners who want to hike/do intervals/run!
This is a no-greet event for dogs, which means no-nose to nose greetings. This is a reactive dog friendly group, lets ensure everyone can enjoy!
The loop is a 5k, but after the first roughly 1.5 miles, you're welcome to head back to your car as we'll be back in the fields. If you do decide to head out early, let someone know as we work to ensure no one is dropped.
Google Map link for parking: We are parking in the field across from the dog park. There are flush toilets and water fountains on site.
*As a general rule, please respect all dogs' space during canicross events. NO on-leash, nose to nose greetings. This is not an event for dogs to be social with others, please keep space between your dog and the dog in front of you when running and announce if you're going to be passing. This is a reactive dog friendly group.
