About this Event
Presented by Wazin Îchinabi Ti, the 3rd Annual Indigenous Arts and Culture Week Gala is a celebration of the individuals and traditions that keep our communities strong.
This year’s theme Celebrating the People Who Keep Us Going recognizes the dancers, drummers, singers, Elders, youth, volunteers and cultural leaders who share their gifts throughout the year.
The evening will feature representation from the Îethka Nakoda, Blackfoot, and Dene Nations, demonstrating how hope and healing are carried forward through traditional song, dance, ancient instruments, and storytelling.
This is an alcohol-free event, with appetizers and mock cocktails provided. The evening concludes with a friendship dance and closing song celebrating connection and resilience.
