Why 6K? Six kilometers is the average distance women and girls in many communities walk to collect water—often water that isn’t even clean. The time spent searching for water keeps many girls from attending school. Why 3K? Because every step brings us closer to a world where everyone has access to clean water! Whether you walk 3K or 6K, you can help make a difference.
Since 2011, World Vision has helped provide lasting access to clean water for more than 34 million people, improved sanitation for over 27 million people, and supported improved hygiene practices for 43 million people.
Join us in being part of the solution! Register for the 3K & 6K Walk for Water and help bring the life-changing gift of clean water to communities around the world.
