With more than 50 years of Southern rock history and 20 million albums sold, 38 Special continues to deliver the powerful sound and explosive live performances that made them classic rock favorites. Their signature blend of driving guitars, memorable melodies, and arena-sized hooks has produced enduring hits including “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up In You,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” and “Second Chance.”Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1974, the band built its reputation through relentless touring and a commitment to giving audiences everything they have. Led by co-founder Don Barnes, these road-tested rockers bring decades of musicianship, unmistakable vocals, and an enduring passion for performing to the stage. Their concerts capture the muscle and melody that helped define a generation of American rock ’n’ roll.
Now, 38 Special is writing its next chapter with Milestone, the band’s first studio album in more than 20 years. Fueled by snarling guitars and anthemic melodies, the new music carries their classic sound forward while honoring the roots that started it all.
