Don’t miss the 34th Annual GRPS Turkey Trot!Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, this Thanksgiving morning tradition returns to downtown Grand Rapids with Something for Everyone.
New for 2026, runners and walkers can choose from a 10K, 5K or 1-Mile Walk Sponsored by Mathmasium, along with the FREE LMCU Mini Trot for kids 12 and under.
Last year, more than 6,500 participants helped raise over $275,000 for GRPS Athletics. This year, we’re aiming for 7,000 participants as we continue supporting student-athletes throughout the district.
All events start and finish at Van Andel Arena on Thanksgiving morning.
Run it. Walk it. Bring the kids. Start a new tradition or continue an old one. There’s Something for Everyone at the GRPS Turkey Trot. 🦃
