LIGHTS OF THE OZARKS PARADE, POWERED BY SWEPCO!Join us Thursday, December 3, at 6:30pm for the Lights of the Ozarks Parade! Enjoy an evening filled with festive floats, holiday cheer, and seasonal celebrations — plus, keep your eyes peeled for the first sighting of Santa Claus!
Parade Route & Viewing Area:
The parade will begin on East Street near the Graduate Hotel, loop around the Downtown Square, continue up Block Avenue, and finish at the intersection of Block Avenue and Spring Street.
Come hungry! Snack and beverage vendors will be set up on the north side of the Square from 5-9pm., so come early, grab a treat, and find your spot before the parade begins!
A Few Things to Know for Lights of the Ozarks Season:
- East Street Closure: East Street will be closed to traffic from 5–10pm every evening except Mondays throughout the season. Stroll the street to enjoy snack and beverage vendors, visit Santa's Workshop, and don't forget to drop your letters to Santa in his mailbox.
- Monday Nights: Vendors, public restrooms, and the Town Center parking deck elevator will be unavailable on Monday evenings to give our hardworking staff a chance to rest and recharge.
-Lights & Hours: The display is free and open to the public every evening from 5pm to 1am through January 1, 2027.
Each year, City of Fayetteville Parks Maintenance Division employees dedicate more than 3,300 hours to transforming the Downtown Fayetteville Square into a holiday wonderland. Installation begins in October and continues through mid-November, with more than 500,000 LED lights bringing the Square to life!
Experience Fayetteville and Downtown Fayetteville Coalition send a special thank you to our season sponsors: SWEPCO, Bank of Fayetteville, BOK Financial, Adventure Subaru, Holden Buildings, Presley Paige, Stellar Party Co, and NWA Equality. Thank you for helping make this beloved holiday tradition possible!
