This free event features presentations by graduate students from across ASU campuses related to linguistics, applied linguistics and TESOL as well as a plenary speech by Robert Godwin-Jones of Virginia Commonwealth University. Godwin-Jones's recent scholarship focuses on technology in language learning, including computer-assisted language learning, digital literacies, and emerging tools such as generative AI.Attendance is free; please register to attend.
The conference is hosted by graduate students with support from ASU's Department of English and its Linguistics and Applied Linguistics / TESOL program. Other sponsors include ASU's Graduate College; Graduate Student Government; International Students and Scholars Center; School of International Letters and Cultures; and Regents Professor Emeritus Elly van Gelderen.
The 2026 conference will be held in-person in Discovery Hall on ASU's Tempe campus.
